Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!

On April 23 / May 6, 2025, the feast of the Holy Great-Martyr and Trophybearer George, a wonderous opportunity arose for our parish to improve the church's parking lot and entrance.

Toward the end of Divine Liturgy, we were visited by the foreman of a local paving company who was finishing up a project nearby. The pavers had two extra trucks full of blacktop that would not be needed for their project, and offered to lay the unneeded amount in our parking lot at a significantly discounted price. After consulting with members of the parish council, the rector decided to accept their offer. After all, paving the parking lot has been a goal for the parish council for some time, but the full price of such a project was prohibitive at this time. 

The work was completed that same day, and the rector and members of the parish council arrived back at the church that evening to inspect the results. All were satisfied with the professional job done.

We are confident that this fortuitous opportunity was a providential blessing from our Lord God, through the prayers of St George, to improve our parish property to the furtherance of His Glory. Nevertheless, the project is a significant, unexpected outlay from the parish's reserves. We ask all parishioners and attendees of Holy Trinity Church to make a contribution of any size to ensure the ongoing fiscal health of our parish.
