On Sunday, 3 May (n.s.), following Divine Liturgy, we will begin a major beautification project in our temple, with the addition of a solea (raised platform) under the altar. This continues previous work to bring our converted building into conformity with the liturgical needs of an Orthodox church. Volunteers will be needed to remain at the church on May 3^rd, especially among our male parishioners, to remove all furnishings from the altar, especially among our male parishioners. Then, after the subfloor is placed, we will need volunteers in the evenings during the week of May 10^th to lay the new floors. We also ask all parishioners to generously support this work, which will carry significant costs in supplies and labor.

In connection with this work, there will be no services in our church the following weekend, 9-10 May (n.s.).
